The food I have had here has been very good. The service is also friendly and quick. The restaurant itself is small for how much business they have so it's a little cramped and crowded but again the food and service is good so...hints the crowd! I would definitely recommend giving it a try. I like how they ask your spice level and adjust accordingly to your preference so I can actually have a little heat and still taste the food. One of the best Thai food places I have had.

I've gone to many Thai restaurants and this is by far the best one! This is a Go-To lunch spot for my coworkers because you get a killer lunch deal. An appetizer, soup AND salad! You seriously get a deal! Their Pad See Ewe is by far the best I've ever had. The noodles and sauce is perfection! Service is always amazing, the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. They keep it real with the spice level lol. I love the authentic decor of the restaurant too, it's stunning. Parking also is great! There is no problem with finding parking, the parking lot has plenty of spots. Located on a main Street so it's easy to make a pit stop for a good meal. I love this place so much and always recommend it to people when they're in the area! So check out Thai Lotus, don't hesitate and do it!

Probably one of the best Thai food spots in town! It was so good, I ate it two separate times in one week. The flavors are so fresh, inviting, and leaving you to crave more! Gluten free peeps - This spot is for you! They have a dedicated GF menu, which I love!! I love a good Pad Thai! This was so saucy, flavorful, and everything you would hope a Pad Thai to be. I really liked their crispy tofu as the protein, so delicious. The sauce is amazing! Hello Avocado Yellow Curry, you are a tasty dream! This dish was perfection! Loaded with chicken, carrots, and avocado. I added potatoes, because I feel like every yellow curry needs potatoes. I loved everything about this curry, so good! I wish this came with a little more rice though, it's a lot of curry and not enough rice. The portions are big! Definitely enough to share, just order extra rice! I ordered takeout and everything arrived piping hot and ready to eat. Will be adding this delightful spot into the rotation!

This is a great spot to grab takeout order to eat at home. Seem to be a very popular location. The food was absolutely amazing and had outstanding flavor. They were very quick at getting my order.

Ordered their lunch special and the thai tea cake. They give you soup and water from the time they sit you. Lunch special came with salad, rice, and viand you ordered. I picked Mango Curry and the spice level i picked was 4. Food was tasty, definitely hit the spot. I'm not a cake person but had to try the thai tea cake --- it was really good. Portions were decent and i am glad i came here.

8/1/2024- My very first time stopping.. Convenient and smart business move to incorporate a boba shop inside the store front. Originally came in for a boba, but started to look at the lunch menu.. Hungry and waiting for my creme brûlée boba- I went and ordered a sweet & sour lunch.. Quickly finished a few minutes after the boba. Prices seam reasonable for lunch.. Appreciate the packaging of keeping the liquids in the tin foil.. Sweet & sour chicken great taste and sauce.. Egg roll was crispy and hot- Salad was nice with a peanut sauce. Definitely impressed ( as I don't eat this food).. but I am getting better with my food palette.. Busy place at lunch.. but will make it back for a second tasting..

Everything about this place is great. The food is awesome. The boba is delicious. The service is amazing. And the fried banana with ice cream, oh man.. I can eat like 3 of those haha. Definitely get the pad see ew and the fishcakes. Probably my favorite, and then the catfish.

When I have some time off work in the summer I like to spend time in the cooler air of North Tahoe. I got invited to lunch at this Thai Lotus place in Reno the other day, so I made the drive down. I got there right at 11am opening to meet friends. It's very nice inside, the servers all wear these funny digital lighted tags. I couldn't even read what they said though. These friends all wanted to get the lunch specials. I'm used to sharing Thai food family style, but I guess if you aren't with people you know well enough to share food, then everybody gets their own Thai dish. The lunch specials were all priced around $13 and more if you wanted seafood, like shrimp. I got the Pad Thai with chicken, something safe, as it's my first time here. The lunch came with an egg roll kinda thing, salad, soup and rice along with the entree. Serving rice with a noodle dish didn't make much sense to me, but whatever. The salad was served with a peanut kind of dressing, it was OK. The egg roll thing was a little greasy, but that's an egg roll for ya. The Pad Thai was served in a bowl. The bowl I found, actually keeps the dish hot longer than serving on a flat plate. Good idea! There were lots of peanuts and served with a lime to squeeze on the noodles. I'm glad there weren't a lot of bean sprouts in the dish. I don't like bean sprouts much, but some like them for texture. The sauce was plentiful, almost too much, but good tasting. You added the chili flakes for your own spice level. I liked this version of the popular Pad Thai dish here at Thai Lotus and I thought the lunch special was a good value, with prices these days.

Thanks again Yelpers! My husband and I were passing through Reno and visited this spot for lunch. By far this is the BEST Thai food!!! The golden, crispy egg rolls were filled vegetables with a side of sweet dipping sauce. The stew was my favorite, beef was tender and falling off the bone . The herbs and veggies were a nice balance to the rich and slightly sweet/spicy broth. I may fly up to Reno just for this dish. :-) The sweet sticky rice with mango was a delicious, creamy finish to the perfect lunch! Tip-they have an extensive menu of unique boba beverages which looked delicious- be sure to save room (I didn't). ;-)
